Juicy pork chops roasted in a zesty, garlicky, ginger, orange, soy sauce with lots of green onion and a little touch of heat. Broccoli florets added halfway to make this gem a full meal. Flavorful and DELICIOUS.
INGREDIENTS – serves 2-4
4 boneless pork chops (about 1″ thick)
1/4c soy sauce
2T maple syrup or honey
1 orange, juice and 1/2 zest
1T ginger, grated
1 garlic clove, grated
1/8t red pepper flakes
1T oil
2 green onions, chopped
3-4c broccoli florets
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 375°F. Lay the pork chops in a 9×11″ baking dish, set aside.
In a liquid measuring cup or small bowl, stir together soy sauce, maple, orange (zest it first!), ginger, garlic, red pepper flakes, oil and green onions. Pour over the pork chops then move the pork chops around a little bit to make sure they are covered in sauce. Roast for 20 minutes.
Give the pork chops a flip then distribute the broccoli around them and put it back in the oven for another 20 minutes.
