Sweet, salty, chewy and crunchy! Dried cranberries, pretzels and oats held together with peanut butter and honey then topped with dark chocolate. These are a perfect and easy sweet treat.
INGREDIENTS
1c oats
1c pretzels, stroe-bought classic twists or sticks broken in half
1/3c dried cranberries
1/2c peanut butter or your fav nut butter
1/4c honey (sub maple syrup)
1/2c chocolate chips (I used dark but use what you have)
Pinch of sea salt – optional
INSTRUCTIONS
Line a loaf pan with parchment paper so it comes up the sides (so you can grab on it for easy removal). Put oats, pretzels, cranberries, nut butter and honey into a food processor, pulse until combined and a little crumbly but clumps up when pressed together. Pour in the bottom of the pan and press down firmly and evenly throughout. Melt chocolate chips in a double boiler or the microwave. Flood the bars with chocolate then even it out with a spatula. Sprinkle with a little sea salt if you have it, then refrigerate for 1+ hours or freeze for 30 minutes. Cut into squares or sticks and store in the fridge.
ENJOY!
