Crisp, fresh apples, crunchy toasted walnuts and thinly sliced shallots over fresh greens finished with my new favorite fall and winter dressing. So simple and comforting. You’re going to love it!
INGREDIENTS – serves 2-4
1 apple, cubed or sliced (I used honeycrisp)
1/2c walnuts, toasted and chopped
1/2 small shallot, thinly sliced
4-6c fresh greens
2T white balsamic vinegar
3T olive oil
Pinch salt and pepper
Assemble your salad, dump the greens in a large bowl or plate, top with apple, walnuts and shallot.
Make the dressing. Whisk together white balsamic, maple, cinnamon and olive oil with a pinch of salt and pepper, then drizzle over the salad and toss.
