Its hard to go wrong with chicken legs on the grill. Crispy, tender chicken marinated in a flavorful rosemary infused lemon honey mustard sauce. So delicious and simple to make!
INGREDIENTS – serves 4
2T olive oil
3T stone ground mustard (or dijon whatever you like)
1 lemon, juiced
2T fresh rosemary, chopped
5-6 chicken legs
In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, mustard, lemon juice, honey, rosemary, salt and pepper. Place chicken legs in a storage container that has a lid or a plastic bag. Pour marinade over chicken, move them around so every leg is coated. Seal the lid or bag and store in the fridge overnight or all day long.
Preheat your grill to med-high heat for 5-10 minutes. Grill legs for 10 minutes with the lid closed, rotate them a 1/4 turn, reduce the heat to med-low and allow to cook for another 10 minutes. Continue to grill on med-low with the lid closed giving them a turn every 10 minutes until they’ve had a chance to grill on all 4 sides (40 minutes total).
