Velvety smooth spiced pumpkin atop flakey puff pastry, drizzled with a pumpkin spice glaze to finish it off. These are incredibly decedent and delicious and you wont believe how easy they are to make!
1 sheet puff pastry
1/2c pumpkin puree
2 eggs (1 is optional)
2t pumpkin pie spice (separated 1t/1t)
2T maple syrup
1/2c powdered sugar (optional)
2T milk of choice (optional)
Preheat oven to 425°F. Cut the puff pastry into 9 squares then transfer the squares on a parchment lined baking sheet. Whisk 1 of the eggs and brush over each square, this part is optional but it makes them look a lot prettier.
Stir together pumpkin puree, the remaining egg, 1t pumpkin pie spice, maple and vanilla with a touch of salt in a bowl. Spoon the mixture in the middle of each puff pastry square and bake for 16-18 minutes.
While they are in the oven, whisk together powdered sugar, 1t pumpkin pie spice and milk until it’s glossy and smooth.
