Dates tossed in a spicy lemon honey dressing, poured over a block of salty feta cheese then baked until the feta gets soft and creamy and the dressing bubbles up into a spicy sweet caramely sauce with soft gooey dates. A salty-sweet appetizer that will keep em coming back for more. Holy moly this is delicious!

INGREDIENTS – serves 2-3

6-8 dates, pitted and chopped
1/4t red pepper flakes
1/2 lemon, juiced
2T honey
2T olive oil
8oz feta block


Preheat oven to 425°F. Place the feta block in the middle of a baking dish.

Whisk together dates, red pepper flakes, lemon juice, honey, olive oil in a small bowl then pour over the feta. Spread out the dates and dressing then lightly lift the feta up a little bit to allow some to dressing to get underneath. Bake for 20 minutes.

Serve with toasted pita triangles.
