BACON GOUDA GREEN ONION DROP BISCUITS

With Father’s Day coming up its time to share one of my dad’s recipe requests and this one is beyond brilliant. Crispy bacon and gooey gouda with a little bite from green onions wrapped up in a buttery fluffy quick and easy biscuit! These are absolutely to die for!

INGREDIENTS

2c flour
1T baking powder
1/4t salt
4 bacon slices, cooked and chopped
1c gouda, shredded
1/4c green onion, chopped (chives, scallions work too)
1c milk of choice or buttermilk
1/4c butter, melted

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 375°F. In a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt and pepper. Add bacon, gouda and green onions, toss to coat in the flour mixture. Pour in milk and melted butter, stir to combine. Spoon/scoop out 10-12 drop biscuits onto a baking sheet. Bake for 15-20 minutes.

ENJOY!

  1. These biscuits are yummy! I didn’t have green onions so I used some chopped Vidalia onion instead. Good stuff!
