Super delicious on the rocks and even better blended into a slushee.  I will be sipping on this minty fresh whiskey sour all summer long!  ✌️

INGREDIENTS – makes 6 drinks

3T sugar
1 lemon zested (just use 1 of the ones you’ll juice)

2 1/4c bourbon
6 lemons, juiced
2c mint simple syrup (recipes below)
6c ice

Garnishes – mint sprigs and lemon wedges

2 shots of your fav bourbon
1 lemon, juiced
2 shots mint simple syrup
1c ice
Sugar + zest for the rim

Mix sugar and lemon zest together on a plate.  Cut a lemon in half and run the flesh along the rim of the glasses then dip the rim in the sugar mixture.  Set aside.

In a large pitcher or blender add bourbon, lemon juice, mint simple syrup and ice.  Stir well or blend.  Pour into the rimmed glass.  Garnish with a little mint and lemon slice.

INGREDIENTS – makes about 2 cups

1.5c water
1c sugar
1 bundle/big handful of mint

Add all ingredients in a pot. Heat just until all of the sugar is melted then remove from heat. Allow the mint to steep for 10 minutes then strain. Store in an air tight container for up to 2 weeks.
