Chicken thighs marinated in orange juice, maple and some yummy spices then grilled until juicy and tender with a little bit of charred edges. Simple, full of flavor and so darn delicious!
INGREDIENTS – serves 2
2 oranges, juiced
1/4c maple syrup
2T olive oil
1/2t salt
1/2t garlic powder
1t smoked paprika
Pinch red pepper flakes
1/4t turmeric
1/4t black pepper
4-6 chicken thighs, boneless/skinless
INSTRUCTIONS
Whisk together orange juice, maple, olive oil, salt, garlic powder, smoked paprika, red pepper flakes, turmeric and black pepper. Marinate chicken thighs in the mixture in a covered container in the refrigerator for 6-8 hours or overnight.
Get your grill hot then reduce the temp to low-med-low. Distribute the chicken thighs on the grill then pour the remaining marinade into a saucepan and bring it to a boil for 2-3 minutes. Flip the chicken, brush with leftover marinade then allow to cook for 2-3 minutes. Flip and repeat 4-5 more times until cooked through and a little charred.
