A quick and easy decadent dessert for two! Gooey and chocolatey with bits of toasted walnut and chocolate chips. The perfect way to finish off a romantic meal with your special someone or keep it all for yourself, you deserve it!


1/4c butter, melted
1/3c sugar
1 egg
1/2t vanilla
3T cocoa powder
1/4c+2T flour
Pinch salt
1/4c chocolate chips
1/3c walnuts, toasted and chopped


Preheat oven to 350°F. Using a whisk, stir together butter and sugar in a large bowl, add the egg and vanilla, stir to combine then the cocoa, flour and salt. Fold in the chocolate chips and walnuts with a rubber spatula or spoon then pour into a greased 6×6 or 4×8 baking dish/loaf pan. Sprinkle with sea salt, if using, then bake for about 25 minutes.
