ORANGE SPICE DUTCH BABY

Such a quick and delicious breakfast! A fluffy, buttery dutch baby spiced with orange zest, cinnamon, nutmeg and clove finished off with creamy greek yogurt and fresh oranges. Elegant, easy and full of flavor.

INGREDIENTS – serves 2-3

3 eggs
1/2t vanilla
1/2 orange, zested
1/2c milk
1/2c flour
1/8t salt
1/4t cinnamon
1/8t nutmeg
Pinch clove
4T butter, separated 2T melted/2T cold or room temp

2 oranges, peeled and sliced up
Greek yogurt
Maple syrup

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 425°F with a 10″ iron skillet inside. Meanwhile, add eggs, vanilla, orange zest, milk, flour, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove and 2T melted butter to a blender, blend until smooth, set aside. Toss the remaining 2T of butter in the hot skillet thats in the oven and let it melt for a couple of minutes. Pour the batter in the skillet and immediately place the skillet in the oven. Bake for about 18 minutes. Allow to cool for at least 5 minutes.

Spread some yogurt in the middle of the dutch baby, top with oranges then drizzle with maple syrup.
