Sweet pears grilled until soft and caramelized then drizzled with a pinot noir-maple syrup glaze. Oh my goodness this is absolutely incredible and so simple and delicious. Wow. You gotta try!

INGREDIENTS – serves 2-4

2 pears, halved + cores removed
1T olive oil

3/4c pinot noir
2T maple syrup


In a small pot, bring pinot and maple to a boil, reduce to a simmer a cook for about 10 minutes. Keep an eye on it, you’ll want to bring it down to about 1/4c/. Set aside and let cool.

Preheat your grill to medium for 5-10 minutes. Drizzle the pear halves with olive oil and a touch of salt then grill for 5 minutes, rotate 90° then cook another 5 minutes, flip over then another 5 minutes.

Serve alone or with ice cream or yogurt and finish with the pinot glaze.
