BRIE + PROSCIUTTO PUFF PASTRY

Gooey, melted brie over just crisp prosciutto on flakey puff pastry slathered with a dijon-fig spread and a sprinkling of fresh thyme. These super simple appetizers are so freaking delicious!

INGREDIENTS

1 sheet puff pastry
2t dijon mustard
2T fig jam
4oz brie, sliced
6 slices prosciutto
Fresh thyme
1 egg – optional

INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 425°F. Flour your rolling surface and rolling pin and flatten the puff pastry sheet into about 12×12″ (mostly just fixing it from being folded up in the box). Cut into 9 squares then transfer the squares on a parchment lined baking sheet.

Stir together mustard and jam in a small bowl then distribute in the middle of each square. Spread it out, leaving about a 1/2″ border. Top with the prosciutto and brie slices then sprinkle with a little fresh thyme.

Whisk egg then brush around the border. Bake 16-18 minutes.

ENJOY!
