SEEDY TAHINI COLESLAW

This update of classic American coleslaw is just what your next family bbq needs! Slightly sweet, light and creamy slaw is that perfect fresh crisp bite with a little extra crunch with some toasted sunflower and sesame seeds. Delicious and so good for you!

INGREDIENTS – serves 4-6

1/2 head of cabbage, shredded/thin slice
2 carrots, shredded
1/4c tahini
2T red wine vinegar
1T honey
2-3T water
1T olive oil
1T sesame seeds
3T sunflower seeds, toasted

INSTRUCTION

In a large bowl, stir together tahini, vinegar, honey, water and olive oil. Add cabbage, carrots, sesame seeds and sunflower seeds and toss until coated. Serve immediately or refrigerate up to overnight.
