Sweet, spicy, juicy drumsticks with sticky, crisp skin. So simple and easy to make with just a few pantry staples. This is the perfect BBQ chicken that saves you from getting stuck at the grill all day.

INGREDIENTS – serves 2

4-6 chicken legs
1t salt
1/4t pepper
3/4t smoked paprika
1/4t dried thyme
1/2t chili powder
1/4t red pepper flakes
1t garlic powder
2T strawberry jam (or any jam you like/have)
2T apple cider vinegar


Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a sheet pan with parchment. Dry the chicken legs with a towel then set aside. In a small bowl, stir salt, pepper, smoked paprika, thyme, chili powder, red pepper flake, garlic powder, jam + vinegar into a paste then brush all over the chicken legs. Spread the legs out on the sheet pan and roast for 20 minutes, flip then 20 more minutes.
