These super simple drop biscuits are little clouds of cheesy goodness with a slight kick! The perfect accompaniment for all the chilis and stews you’ll be making this Fall. And they are the easiest to whip up, just dump everything in a bowl, stir, scoop and bake!
1T baking powder
1 1/2c pepper jack or monterey jack, shredded
1 can of green chilis, drained
1/3c butter, melted
1c milk of choice or buttermilk
Preheat oven to 375°F. In a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder and salt. Add cheese and green chilis, toss to coat in the flour mixture. Pour in milk and melted butter, stir to combine. Spoon/scoop out 12 drop biscuits onto a baking sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes. Or make minis with a small scoop
