Drop biscuits are for the days you need something quick that wont make a mess and this particular batch is PACKED WITH FLAVOR! Nutty, cheesy parmesan, SO many chives and a little black pepper to even it all out. Perfect as a potluck side or stuffed in a bowl of stew to soak up all the goodness. These are TO. DIE. FOR.


2c flour
1T baking powder
1/2t salt
1/2t black pepper
1c parmesan, grated
1/2c chives, chopped
1/3c butter, melted
1c milk of choice or buttermilk


Preheat oven to 375°F. In a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt and pepper. Add parmesan and chives, toss to coat in the flour mixture. Pour in milk and melted butter, stir to combine. Spoon/scoop out (I use my big cookie scoop) 12 drop biscuits onto a baking sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes.
