The easiest, quickest baked (or stovetop) beans that are the PERFECT side dish to any of your summertime meals! Literally just dump, stir and bake. Its vegan so its a great potluck dish everyone can enjoy too!
3T maple syrup
1/2t miso – optional
1t dijon mustard
1/4t garlic powder
3/4t smoked paprika
1 1/2t apple cider vinegar
1 1/2c cook white beans/1 can drained (pinto beans work perfectly too) – make your own here
Stir together ketchup, maple syrup, miso, mustard, garlic powder, smoked paprika, apple cider vinegar, salt and water. Pour in beans and stir to coat.
Stovetop: Pour saucy beans into a pot, bring to a simmer and cook 5-8 minutes.
Baked: Preheat oven to 350°F. Pour saucy beans into a lightly greased loaf pan and bake for 20 minutes. Make a double batch in a 8×8/9×9.
