Theses are dangerously good!  And a perfect cocktail snack for being stuck at home. 


1 slice bacon
1T butter or coconut oil (optional depending on your bacon)
1/4t cinnamon
1/4t turmeric
Dash of cayenne
2T maple syrup
2c walnuts
Sea salt


Lightly toast walnuts in a dry pan, set aside. Fry bacon in a skillet, remove.  Reserve 1-2T of the oil or add butter/coconut oil.  Add cinnamon, turmeric and cayenne, stir until fragrant.  Add maple syrup, it’ll get bubbly.  Toss in the walnuts and coat completely.  Finely chop the bacon and add it in too.  Continue to stir for another 2-3 minutes to toast the walnuts then pour onto parchment, salt and cool.
