1 slice bacon
1T butter or coconut oil (optional depending on your bacon)
Dash of cayenne
2T maple syrup
Fry bacon in a skillet, remove. Reserve 1-2T of the oil or add butter/coconut oil. Add cinnamon, turmeric and cayenne, stir until fragrant. Add maple syrup, it’ll get bubbly. Toss in the walnuts and coat completely. Finely chop the bacon and add it in too. Continue to stir for another 2-3 minutes to toast the walnuts then pour onto parchment, salt and cool.
