I had a bunch of bananas about to go bad this weekend so I whipped a batch of these up to have in the freezer when I’m craving a little sweet treat. Its like having a little bite of ice cream.
1/3c dark chocolate chips
2T roasted, chopped hazelnuts
1t sea salt
3 bananas cut into 1/2in slices
Melt chocolate chips in a double boiler or microwave. Dip the banana slices about halfway in the melted chocolate and place on a parchment lined sheet pan, sprinkle hazelnuts and a little salt on top. Freeze for about an hour then transfer into an airtight container.
