Rich, toasty brown butter blondies covered in cinnamon sugar. Chewy with just a little crunch on the outside. Literally all the delicious goodness we crave from a snickerdoodle wrapped up in a quick and easy blondie. So festive and tasty!
INGREDIENTS makes 9-16
1/2c butter, melted and browned
1/2c + 1T sugar (separated)
1/2c brown sugar
1 egg
1 1/3c flour
1t baking powder
1/4t salt
1t cinnamon (separated 1/2t/1/2t)
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 350°F.
In a large bowl, whisk together brown butter, 1/2c sugar and brown sugar. Whisk in the egg, once the batter is smooth, give it another good stir. Add flour, baking powder, salt and 1/2t cinnamon. Stir until smooth, switching to a rubber spatula about halfway through. Dump into a greased 8×8 baking dish and bread out evenly.
In a small bowl, stir together the remaining 1T sugar and 1/2t cinnamon then sprinkle over the batter. Bake 30 minutes. Allow to cool to the touch before removing from the baking dish and cutting up.
