Fresh green beans sautéed in thyme infused butter until just charred on the outside and tender with a little crunch on the inside. Finished with a touch of sea salt. Perfectly delicious, quick and easy to make. The best side dish for the holidays!
INGREDIENTS – serves 2
3T butter
5-6 sprigs fresh thyme
3/4lb green beans, trimmed
1/2t sea salt
1/4t black pepper
INSTRUCTIONS
Bring a skillet to medium-med-high heat. Melt the butter in the pan add the thyme to the butter and let it infuse for about 30 seconds before adding the green beans salt and pepper. Saute 5-8 minutes, stirring occasionally until just a little charred but still have that crunch. Plate them up, pouring any of the extra butter over the top. Finish with a little extra salt if you want then serve.
