Sagey, parmesan drop biscuits with crispy bits of prosciutto in every bite. Easy, delicious and perfect on any Fall table!
INGREDIENTS
3 slices prosciutto
2c flour
1T baking powder
1/4t salt
2T sage
1/2c parmesan, grated
1c milk of choice or buttermilk
1/3c butter, melted
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 375°F.
Lay the prosciutto out on a foil covered baking sheet and roast for 6-10 minutes until crisp (keep an eye on it, depending on the thickness and fat content it will cook differently).
In a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt and sage. Add prosciutto and parmesan, toss to coat in the flour mixture. Pour in milk and melted butter, stir to combine. Spoon/scoop out 10-12 drop biscuits onto a baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
