A chewy buttery blondie with a crisp top, loaded with chunks of apples and hints of cinnamon and nutmeg. So delicious and cozy. A perfect treat for any Fall occasion.
INGREDIENTS makes 9-16
1/2c butter, melted and browned
1c brown sugar
1 egg
1t vanilla
1c flour
1t baking powder
1/8t salt
1t cinnamon
1/2t nutmeg
1 apple, 1/2″ cubed
Sea salt
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 350°F. Using a whisk, stir together butter and brown sugar in a large bowl, add the egg and vanilla, stir to combine. Pour in flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg and stir it in. Using a spoon or rubber spatula, fold in the apples then dump into a greased 8×8 pan. Even out the batter then bake for 45 minutes, allow to cool before removing it from the pan and slicing it up.
