GRILLED PESTO ASPARAGUS with TOASTED ALMONDS

Tender, lightly charred asparagus tossed in pesto then sprinkled with toasted almonds for a delicious crunchy finish. Such a great side, all summer long.

INGREDIENTS

1 bundle of asparagus, ends trimmed (medium-large thickness)
1-2T olive oil

1T pesto, buy some or make your own here

1-2T sliced almonds, toasted

INSTRUCTIONS

Toss the asparagus in olive oil with a sprinkle of salt and pepper.

Get your grill nice and hot, reduce the heat to medium then grill the asparagus for about 4 minutes on each side. Remove to a platter. Toss in pesto while the asparagus is still warm then sprinkle with almonds and serve.
