CHOCOLATE NUT BUTTER BARS

5 ingredients and 5 minutes to throw together! These no- bake chocolate nut butter bars cure that candy bar craving without any mystery ingredients and are SO SIMPLE to make! A total MUST TRY.

INGREDIENTS

1c oats
1/2c nut butter (I used peanut)
2T honey/maple syrup
Pinch of salt
1/2c chocolate chips (I used dark but get creative with what you have)

INSTRUCTIONS

Line a loaf pan (DOUBLE the recipe for a 9×9/8×8 pan) with parchment paper so it comes up the sides (so you can grab on it for easy removal). Put oats, nut butter, honey/syrup and a pinch of salt into a food processor. Pulse until combined and a little crumbly but clumps up when pressed together. Pour in the bottom of the pan and press down evenly throughout the pan. Melt chocolate chips in a double boiler or the microwave. Flood the oat-nut butter with chocolate then even it out with a spatula. Sprinkle with a little sea salt if you have it, then refrigerate for 1+ hours. Cut into squares or sticks (if they crumble a little, just press them back together) and store in the fridge.

ENJOY!
